Taste of Muskoka Feature Article
Muskoka Magazine's May 2012 edition featured Grille '27 in their Taste of Muskoka section. The premise of the article was that any great restaurant can gauged by their simplest offerings and as such, profiled our Herb Infused Duck Fat Fries. To quote the article "Hand cut fries are tossed in herb-infused duck fat, sprinkled with kosher salt, and crowned with a hint of lemon zest and parmesan, making them among the most delectable in Muskoka, let alone on the planet."
Grille '27's inspiration comes from many sources and experiences. In the case of the Duck Fat Fries, the recipe was generously shared with us from our nephew Executive Chef Chris Burns. Thank you Chris for allowing us to introduce your famous Fries to Muskoka.

Our traditional burger smothered in Muskoka Maple BBQ sauce and topped with peppercorn encrusted peameal bacon, crispy onion rings and melted old cheddar cheese.

Baked Gala Apple Creme Brulee with an Espresso Chocolate Drizzle and Charred Marshmallow. A perfect dessert for a Muskoka Summer Night.

Huff Estate Wines | Grille ’27 is proud to feature Huff Estate Wines. Located on a small peninsula in Prince Edward County, surrounded by Lake Ontario South Bay, this site is ideal for growing grapes. The soil is composed of clay loam, shale loam and limestone. Oak trees line the vineyard forming a natural wind break and that coupled with the temperate climate generated by the two large bodies of water make this location ideal for various styles of wines such as Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris.
